SUMMARY REMARKS & TESTBEDS
Cybercrime inflicts damages totalling €5.56 trillion. A hack attack occurs every 39 seconds, and about 300,000 new malwares are created daily. Inspired by our patent on circumventing Operating System vulnerabilities for secure transactions:
- we (ZEROV consortium of 8 European experts)
- recently introduced a radical Zero Vulnerability Computing (ZVC)
- concept to tackle the cybercrime menace
ZVC eradicates computer vulnerabilities by completely obliterating a computer’s attack surface that bad actors often exploit to inject malware. In this project, we build and test a thin ZVC variant that sanitizes a USB device against malware by eliminating its attack surface.
