The 8th Fed4FIRE+ Competitive Call – Innovative Experiments | Category “Medium Experiments” closed on September 22nd, 2020.
This call aim was to make Fed4FIRE+’s federated infrastructure directly available for execution of innovative experiments by experimenters at both industrial (including SMEs) and research organisations. Examples of such experiments may include but are not limited to testing of new protocols or algorithms, performance measurements or scalability testing.
We received 31 proposals submitted by industrial, including SMEs and research organisations. The evaluation and selection have been completed and 4 proposals have been selected for funding.

- V2GRAN “Energy-aware Autoscaling of Virtualized Radio Access Networks” proposed by TSSG, Waterford Institute of Technology (Ireland)
- LISCIo “Lightweight Self-adaptive Cloud-IoT Monitoring across Fed4FIRE+ Testbeds” proposed by Department of Computer Science, University of Pisa (Italy)
