SUMMARY REMARKS & TESTBEDS
Copyright Delta is building digital rights services for the media value chain. All privacy-by-design. At the core we focus on optimizing royalty administrations, automating new revenue streams and providing transparency compliance. Distributed computing and permissioned blockchain technologies also allow us to provide data sovereignty to end-users. They can host and control their own data.
With our approach, we can solve a huge gap in the audio-visual value chain (music, podcasts, games, VR, video, 5G). Our solution is the result of a close collaboration with music creators and media companies while we solve their collective needs, reduce their liabilities and enhance their compliance with new EU-copyright legislation. Our next F4F experiment focuses on highly needed functionality to easily enable data sovereignty for end users. This allows end-users to decide where their data is stored. For example when a media company (label, publisher) wants to move an entire node to another cloud host provider. Or when a music creator (artist, composer) wants to migrate one’s account towards another node.
The latter happens when an artist (account) signs with another music label or music publisher and then wants to store his/her data on that new label or publisher’s blockchain node.
