SUMMARY REMARKS & TESTBEDS

ISSD® specializes in Intelligent Transportation Systems including, Bluetooth based traffic analysis systems, and image processing technologies developed for traffic rule enforcement and dynamic junction management. As apart o f R&D efforts, we have focused on calculating speed profiles, estimating queue lengths, and generating traffic corridor sections using FCD (FloatingCarData) for future use.

Above mentioned tasks in R&D efforts that use FCD were completed with offline data on a small-scale. However,th e same tasks need to be accomplished in real-time on urban-scale to be used in junctio n management and incident detection. Hence, a big data infrastructure must be built. Following the creation of this infrastructure ,i t is intended to integrate the prepared algorithms into this infrastructure and perform real-time tests.
