IoT Lab, a testbed infrastructure specialised in the Internet of Things (IoT), crowdsourcing and data protection, recently joined Fed4FIRE+, the largest federation worldwide of Next Generation Internet (NGI) testbeds. Headquartered in Geneva, the testbed provides privacy-by-design crowdsourcing tools that enable collecting end-user feedbacks and validations in a fully GDPR compliant manner.
IoT Lab offers the opportunity to combine technical experimentations with end-user validation at any location and it facilitates all sorts of multidisciplinary research and experiments with end-user interactions. Moreover, it provides online testing tools for IoT, as well as test and certification services, such as IPv6 ready logo. IoT Lab aims at providing a Testbed as a Service experience for researchers and it serves an international platform of expertise in the IoT and data protection by design area, which supports cooperation among researchers and technology transfer from the research community to the industry, to global standardisation (ITU, ISO, IEC, etc.), and to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
More information on the testbed and how to use it can be found here.
